Our Father

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name;thy kingdom come, thy will be doneon earth as it is in heaven.Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses,as we forgive those who trespass against us;and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.Amen.

From the Gospel of Matthew 6:9–13.

In Latin

Pater noster, qui es in caelis, sanctificetur Nomen Tuum;adveniat Regnum Tuum;fiat voluntas Tua,sicut in caelo, et in terra.Panem nostrum cotidianum da nobis hodie,et dimitte nobis debita nostra, sicut et nos dimittimus debitoribus nostris;et ne nos inducas in tentationem;sed libera nos a Malo.Amen.

The Compendium prints the prayer as it is said at Mass, without the closing Amen, which is added when it is said on its own.
